Believe it or not but it took a lot of planning, packing and preparation to look this good at the beach. HA! This is the only family picture I got of our whole trip. I also need to apologize for posting a picture of my four month post baby body in a swim suit...I know the world is definitely not ready to see this. Just close your eyes and scroll down real fast!
This is the fabulous beach house we rented with our friends the C's.
This is the fabulous beach house we rented with our friends the C's.R LOVED getting to go wade fishing with daddy and Mr. C. He wasn't too crazy about the super-choppy water on the boat ride out to their fishing spot. He decided that he was still a pirate but just a pirate that likes "smooth water".
R caught his first speckled trout off the pier.
Check out that giant fish!
W's first dip in the ocean didn't phase him, he's too busy teething to stop chewing on his fingers long enough to realize what's going on around him.
Too Cute!
Pretend with me that he's really smiling and not screaming his head off about his super-cool shades. We had such a great weekend beach vacation with our friends the C's. We headed out to Port O'Connor for some fishing and beach fun. The poor guys didn't have that great of luck with the fishing part but the rest of us made up for it in beach fun. The beach house we rented was FABULOUS! It had everything and a fully stocked game room for the kids to enjoy. The kids all had such a great time playing together they even filled cups with lots of stuff they found and added all kinds of liquids, rocks, soap, grass and shells and called it their "experience". It was cute to watch the budding little scientists create their experiments. We can't wait for our next getaway!

I'm jealous - my weekend getaways are to a friend's pool in Magnolia, not the beach.
