I think this was the most fun Halloween I've had my entire life. I LOVED getting to see my little Lance Berkman trick or treat and get soooo excited at each new house. Before we left to go trick or treating Rhett was finishing a banana and I thought he finished it but apparently he put it in his trick or treat bag and headed out the door. We found it after he went to his first door. He wasn't only interested in the candy he also stopped and picked up rocks to put in his bag. I was cracking up at the end of the night when he dumped out his loot because he had a mixture of candy, mushy banana, rocks and half eaten suckers. He was very proud of his little collection. After we went trick or treating we got together at one of our neighbor's houses for a potluck dinner. We have such great neighborhood friends and we just love all of their children like they were our own. The kids were all too cute posing on the couch.
Today was Rhett's girlfriend, Brooke's, birthday party. We had so much fun playing games and watching Rhett play with all the other kids. I think Rhett's favorite part was when everyone left the table and he had free reign on their un-eaten cookies...I just don't understand why my kid is so big??? HAHA

Today we had our neighborhood Halloween block party. The video is of the costume parade, which is where the kids run around the cul-de-sac a few times. They all loved it and we had a blast visiting with our friends.

We finally decided to carve our pumpkins. Rhett loved putting them back together like a puzzle.
Our Aunt Connie was in town for a conference and so Rhett and I went to meet her at her hotel. She bought Rhett this super-cool truck and they had a lot of fun taking it apart and putting it back together. Rhett loves working on the truck, he spends lots of time just taking it apart and putting it back together over and over. Thanks for the great toy Aunt Connie!
I'm sure you can barely tell these kids are all related....I wonder if intense TV watching is an inherited trait...HAHA!
After church today Rhett and I were back on the road to see more family. We stayed the night with our cousins and they really didn't just watch TV the whole time.
We all went to a town festival for the day and Rhett had a blast on all of the bouncy toys. At first the workers told us that Rhett was too young to be able to climb over the ladder wall and they didn't let him in but he kept going over and trying to get in and they finally agreed. So Rhett got right in there and climbed over the wall on the first try and then made it over the big slide on the other side, he thought he was so big after completing such a large task. I guess all of the playing made him extra hungry because at lunch not only did he completely clean his plate but he picked up the salsa bowl and slurped it all down as well. One of my best friends from high school, Casi, came to eat with us and she was quite impressed by Rhett's spectacular table manners...haha!
Rhett got to sit with Grandpa and NeNe at the football game and then after the game I went to the restaurant where the reunion was being held. We had a great turnout and I had a wonderful time visiting with my old classmates!
After spending time with Grandma and Moopa, Rhett and I headed over to my hometown for my ten-year reunion. I took him to my old high school to see my old Ag classroom where his Grandpa Ellis used to teach and where all of my state officer posters are. He didn't believe me that those pics in the room were pictures of his mommy. He kept telling me "that's not mommy". I also got to take him to my family's business. He enjoyed collecting a ton of candy at the Homecoming Parade and I had a great time catching up with my friends before the reunion started. It was really neat to see Rhett playing with the kids of my old high school buddies.
Today Rhett spent the morning playing all over Grandma and Moopa's land. He got to water the cows and pretend to drive the four-wheeler. Then we spent the evening at a dedication that Moopa was speaking at along with Governor Perry. Rhett was most excited about the cupcakes!
Rhett and I headed out West to visit Grandma and Moopa before heading to my ten-year high school reunion. As soon as Moopa got home from work we went to the farms to check on the cows. Rhett loved getting to call the cows with Moopa and he really enjoyed feeding the horses.
