Rhett and I made another marathon tour of Texas for Thanksgiving. We started off visiting Kelsey, Kourtney and Kacey for Kacey's birthday. Rhett was so happy that we got to go eat a Chuck E. Cheese's to celebrate her day. We then headed on to Aunt JoJo's house to visit with Kenzie and Kolsen. After spending a few days with them we headed to my parents house and we got to spend some time with two of my special friends from high school, Casi and Mandi. After our visit with my family and friends we headed to Jason's parents house. We were so happy to pick daddy up at the airport the day before Thanksgiving and then we spent the rest of our time hunting, bowling and having some great family time.

great american campout
We really want to start taking family camping trips but before we ventured out into the great outdoors we wanted to practice camping in the comfort of our living room. We talked about our big "camping trip" all week long and so by Friday night, Rhett couldn't wait to get in the tent. He was such a great helper putting it all together and he loved helping make the smores. We were smart enough to set our tent up facing the TV so we could relax and watch our Barnyard movie. Not only did we get to watch a movie but we were able to see some beautiful wildlife right outside our tent window. All in all we had a great time hanging out together but we only made until 10:00 when Rhett got tired of shining the flashlights in our eyes and threatening to leave the tent if we didn't stop falling asleep. He finally asked if he could just go to sleep in his own bed and we happily obliged because the floor was getting a little uncomfortable for us.

zoo day
With the cooler weather, all the monkeys were very active at the zoo this morning including my little monkey! Actually the mommy and baby orangutans playing together was the sweetest and cutest thing I've ever seen. Rhett and I just stood there and laughed and laughed each time mommy would roll baby around in the bucket until it finally fell out. When Rhett was smaller we used to play a game called baby in a bucket and carry him around in a bucket so their game looked very similar to ours.
