Today we had another wonderful family day at the Astros game. We went early to watch batting practice and to try to score some autographs. Unfortunately we didn't get autographs, but I did get a lot of good close-up shots of the players. Since we were there so early we actually got to sit down and eat real food instead of our usual hot dogs and nachos. We were so happy that Roger Clemens was on the mound but Rhett was more excited about the Friday night fireworks.
Today we made our own pizza. Rhett especially loved eating the canadian bacon. He was also very excited about helping daddy make the pizza and getting to eat it as well.
We finally bought Rhett his first big boy bed. He loves it! He gets in bed and goes right to sleep at night but at nap time it takes him a little longer to wind down and finally give it up. We had been planning on buying him bunk beds, but we finally decided that a full size bed would be better down the line. We also decided to do the trundle bed underneath instead of having the captain's drawers. So we now have plenty of space for any quest who come for a visit. I'm still looking for his bedding, and if I ever get his room all done I'll post another picture.
