happy little five month old

Letting out a full-body giggle!

W was happiest when I let him roll in the blocks and taste them!

Where has the time gone, five months already? This months shot was the hardest to take so far because little mister mobile pants just wants to roll all over the place and eat the blocks. So I had to include several for your viewing pleasure. Let's see what our little W is up to at five months old.

• Loves to roll all over the place and is so proud of himself when he gets where he intended
• Sucks his thumb and cuddles his taggie blanket to soothe himself
• Blows bubbles and makes blubbering noises and if you make the same noise back to him he will giggle with delight
• Has widened his range of noises and LOVES using his loud squealing voice during his early morning feeding in mom and dad's bed
• Really responds to daddy's singing and music, he instantly lights up when daddy sings
• Loves our faces and wants to touch every detail of them
• Reaches for objects and will hold them for long periods of time
• Gets upset if you take said object out of his hand
• Lies on his tummy and pushes up on his arms and gives us the cheesiest melt your heart smiles
• Has gotten up on his knees once or twice
• Sleeps in a little ball on his tummy with his knees tucked under his chest and his little booty up in the air...too cute!
• Loves when he can get his toes in his mouth
• Will lie on his back and bring both feet up to his mouth
• Goes to bed around 8 and can sleep until 6:30 but sometimes likes to get up at 4:00 (grrr)
• Eating rice cereal, oatmeal, applesauce, peaches, bananas, green beans, peas, sweet potatoes, carrots. Green beans are NOT his favorite
• Drooling and chewing on EVERYTHING, those bottom teeth are trying so hard to come through
• Splashes and plays all during bath time, really loves the water even the ocean and the swimming pool
• Only gets fussy when he's tired or hungry
• Will laugh out loud at his silly big brother

Oh Wyatt, if you only knew how much you have stolen our hearts. You have brought us so much joy and happiness and we thank God daily for your presence in our family!
