December 9th was career day at Rhett’s school and of course we remembered at 9:00pm December 8th. So we put together his best lawyer outfit. We decided he was a lawyer on casual Friday since he had to wear jeans with his sport coat. Here are the official pics of the Newman & Newman firm. They decided that their specialty would be keeping Wyatt out of jail…haha!
After the boys finished their hard days at the office we had a fun weekend planned. We headed downtown to the House of Blues and enjoyed Sunday brunch. We were entertained by a wonderful gospel singer who belted out amazing hymns. She even serenaded the boys with “This Little Light of Mine”.
Once our tummies were full from brunch we headed upstairs for the gingerbread workshop. It was SO nice to mess up someone else’s tables for a change! Rhett and Jason worked together to build a mighty fine house and Wyatt and I pretty much just ate candy and ran around the dance floor.
Rhett promised us he wasn’t sneaking red icing between decorating…lol
Landon did go with us, he just slept in the stroller.
Oh what a FUN day we had, we came home happy and super-high on sugar! In my opinion that’s the only way to be…HA!
