Here are a few pictures from our little "hurrication". After hanging out at our cousins house for a couple of days glued to the TV we decided to go out and make the best of our evacuation. We had just a wonderful day together. We started off at the zoo with a train ride. We were so fortunate that a cool front blew in because we had such nice weather to walk around in and the animals were all out enjoying the cooler temps as well. The monkeys were having so much fun playing what looked like a game of tag and we just had a ball watching and laughing at them.
After the zoo we headed over to the Alamo and Rhett was really interested in what all happened there and he loved getting to see David Crockett's guns and knives. He even picked out a Davey Crockett hat at the gift shop on the way out. We really had such a great time and it was nice to just get away from the news and devastation that has struck our area.

I am so glad ya'll are okay. I just e-mailed Laura this morning. We evacuated to Kerrville, but Laura was on our list of people to call if Adam's cousin didn't pan out. We are praying earnestly for everyone there. It was a very scary situation.
