Seriously??

It happened again...little W got another month older. We are now only TWO months away from his first birthday people...YIKES! As you can see I don't have many pictures to share of our little ten-month old with the blocks because it is getting almost impossible to keep him sitting in one place for more than a second. The second to last picture is right before I had to drop my camera and catch him as he dived right off the couch. He is too busy these days getting into everything and trying to walk to sit still for a picture. Here is what all he's up to at ten months.
  • He is wearing 9-12 month clothes and size 4 diapers
  • He weighs 20 pounds and was 28 inches at his 9 month check-up
  • He is eating EVERYTHING, and will not eat baby food any more. If I present something to him that he doesn't want he will close his lips so tightly and turn his head and will not take it. This doesn't happen often but he's starting to refuse green beans. Today he ate an entire grilled cheese sandwich and loved every bite.
  • He is still nursing about four times a day and drinks water from a sippy cup with meals and snacks
  • He is definitely calling me mama when he sees me or needs something.
  • When he is hungry he will start smacking his lips and if anyone in the house starts to eat he goes over to them and starts smacking away. He even smacked at me while I was feeding the fish, he couldn't understand why I didn't think he would enjoy brine shrimp...HA!
  • He definitely has a strong will and stands his ground if he doesn't want something.
  • He made his first trip to the ER this month and survived an IV
  • He has six teeth, four on top and two on bottom
  • He is getting more and more sturdy when standing unassisted but he still hasn't been able to stand by himself for more than a minute
  • He is trying to take steps in between objects that are close together but usually falls upon arrival
  • He can climb up all 16 stairs and is so proud once he makes it to the top
  • He is still a singer, when music comes on he starts making noises that sound like he's trying to match the pitch.
  • He claps his hands, and will sometimes wave but he will never do either of these on command for the general public
  • He is still squishing up his nose and lips and making the funniest hyperventilating noises when he gets excited.
  • He is still sucking his left thumb when he goes to sleep
WOW, I'm still just in shock that this is his TEN month post. I really can't believe it! He is definitely a keeper and we are so thrilled to be his parents. Here is a look back at our sweet baby from two to nine months.
